Graham, I'm sorry to be dense here, but I don't quite understand your description. Do you actually hold both sheets of paper together up in the air over the block, put them in the kento corner, and then let them fall on the wood? Could you be a bit more explicit ...? ***** Matt wrote: > ... Chinese printing. The Chinese prints that I've seen did seem to be wrinkled and a bit uneven, but I've always thought this was because of the thin, insubstantial paper. Can I 'get back to you' on this one? I've recently been calling Gosho-san with questions about this and that, and I don't want to make a real pest of myself. I'll get his ideas on this next time I'm talking to him ... (But the reference materials that I've got on hand here specifically state dry paper, and the prints themselves have every appearance of being made with typical water-based stuff ...) ***** Administrative note: A couple of nights ago, there were apparently quite a lot of problems 'out there' on the internet somewhere, and a large number of email messages were unable to be delivered. This seems to have affected some of our [Baren] mail. If you see by the sequential numbers that appear in the subject line of your messages that you are 'missing' some, they can always be found in the archives in the [Baren] Home Page. http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~xs3d-bull/baren/default.html Dave ------------------------------ End of Baren Digest V2 #98 **************************
