Gee's if I had thought beyond my nose I would have put it on my site.
I had been pounding nails all day, helping my son with the reno on his
front porch, and my mind was in park mode.

Ah.  Completely ignored the smiley.  I figured there was some kind of
saying about gullibility or lack thereof in men with beards and I had
missed it. :-)  or if we're going to get picky, since I wear glasses. 8-)

Even though Dave's storytelling and Graham's reply about his post both
scream out for sarcasm, (do you suspect that since both are from Canada -
Dave via England, that that is the problem????), you will note there has
been no response from me.  Could it be that I am getting mellow in my old
age?  Alas....failure to respond to such open invitations hurts to the
quick.   But I shall avoid the temptation knowing full well, both will
present ample opportunities in the future....eh.  :-)>>>

Subject: [Baren 1027] I was so quiet, but...  

Hi all ye Bareners - 
I've been happily reading and enjoying the Baren list for the last few
weeks, and I thought I'd finally introduce myself.  I'm a woodcut artist
living in CT, and a member of a small artist's co-op gallery in Danbury
(and the only printmaker, by the way).

I'm actually doing a show in Sept. on the theme of the narrative in art
(you know, pieces that tell a story, in whatever form), and was
wondering if anyone out there might be interested in showing a few
pieces.  Let me know.
