I envy you having decided your style and theme and confidently creating your prints--enough for two walls at least! What new images do you plan to add to your repertoire? Speed is the answer, because the pigment is actually sinking slowing into the paper, even sized paper. If the blot isn't lifted off as soon as possible, within seconds, forget it. You can see it, but can't get to it. This is why we can easily remoisten paper on its printed surface after it has dried once, there is almost no way we can remove the already printed pigments when we remoisten. Here in my studio, we use a small, thoroughly moistened watercolor painting brush to, first, wetten the blot more, then with the same small brush, but with all its water squeezed out, pick up the blot off the surface. If we work quickly, success. I didn't know of Mr Matsuzaki's method, but it is in keeping with the way they do things in Tokyo. I will try it next time. Thanks, Dave.
