We should appoint you as 'adjudicator' for our prints, I think! And seeing your post reminded me of the latest statistics from the Encyclopedia. Here are the most popular pages over the 1st quarter of the year, along with the number of times each page was 'read' during that period: 249) the Yoshida printmaking book 208) Jim Mundie's pages 197) Printmakers on the Web 197) the Fletcher printmaking book 157) Suppliers in America 155) Dave's rundown on his carving tools 149) 'Editor's Choice' 144) the Tokuno printmaking book 132) Early 20th Century printmakers 122) Mary's piece on 'Woodcuts - Printing in relief' In addition to these Encyclopedia pages, both the 'Who is Baren?' and the 'Exchange 1999' pages received a lot of action: 574) Who is Baren? 443) Exchange 1999 The overall stats are at: http://woodblock.com/stats/stats.html *** I got a print in the mail this afternoon ... from the member who signs herself lowercase georga. I don't have enough information from her yet for a 'Who is Baren' entry, but here is the print: http://woodblock.com/temporary/georga.jpg Is there colour in there georga? Hand tinted? *** The clock on my computer reminds me that tomorrow is April 5th - when sign-up for [Exchange 2] is opened to the general membership. We're all confused by the time change this weekend I think, so to make it clear, the page will open at 1:00 am GMT in the early morning of April 5th - afternoon or evening of the 4th for North American members ... 16 'new' members have already signed up, leaving 14 spots still open. If it turns out that all the participants in the previous exchange want to join, the first 14 names received after 1:00 will be in this exchange, and the other 12 will be placed on the sheet for [Exchange 3].
