Cheating trick for razor sharp knives: Visit your local barber-shop or 
similar hair-cutters, ask the barber or stylist who sharpens their scissors 
(hair stylists are completely obsessed by the degree of sharpness of their 
scissors). Many times they will use a service and will be happy to share 
their business card. During a hair-cut once I had the luck of witnessing a 
conversation between the stylist and sharpening guy, who readily offered to 
sharpen my woodcutting knives for free just to try him out! I sharpen my own 
now, but he did a fine job and right to my specifications.
