You know, I'd really like to sign up for the dragon card exchange, but I
am *so* swamped with signing up for 2 exchanges and all the other things
I've gotten myself into - well maybe later? Like at the last minute? Is
there a deadline? I really would like to carve a dragon, though. Sounds
like I'm weakening, doesn't it?

Nice of you, Pete, to offer the space for this. Also, your web site
looks pretty good to me! I think the hardest part is just getting
something up there - you can add to & refine it later.

I don't know about the "great" thing, but as to how I do it, just ask Dave
and he will say:
cut print cut print cut print ... I enter exhibitions and calls for entries,
probably one a week or so, local, regional, national.... Then, instead of
waiting at the mailbox, I cut print cut print cut print.... eventually
surprises come in. Rejections do too, by the way, I don't let them deter me
and keep on keeping on. I believe there's an audience for everyone's art. I
also believe that practice makes better, so I keep practicing...

other. Your web site just keeps getting better everytime I  visit. Noticed your
latest works are a bit larger (24" X  19") than previous stuff. How do you

Administrivia:

I've just completed an internal re-arrangement of part of the [Baren]
web site.  It's nothing you'll notice when you're browsing, but some of
the addresses have changed.

This means that if any of you have 'linked-in' from your own web sites
to the images that are contained in the Exchange Folio section of the
site, you will have to alter the URLs of such links.

Sorry about the inconvenience ...

(The motivation for my house cleaning this afternoon was the impending
completion of Exchange #3 ...  The coordinators tell us that most of the
prints have arrived, and they are just waiting for the last one or two
stragglers ... and for the cases, which are at the moment presumably
somewhere in the Pacific Ocean, hopefully not too far from Seattle!)
