the exchange at Kansas City Art Institute, I believe.

Maria and Dayrl  What a fantastic effort I think it is absolutely
wonderful .  I'm thinking about the printing and I wonder if you used
another piece of plywood of exactly the same size on top of the paper
when you roll the buick over it that wouldn't give you a perfect
print.   I also think that if you used an etching black  you would get a
richer print.  I would love to see it printed. Best of luck you guys.

Subject: [Baren 6608] printing in a small space 

Margaret, I print in a tiny cluttered apartment!  I do woodblock prints in 
the Japanese method, so my baren is my "press" (which doesn't take up much 
space! :)), and I'm not working w/too large of a paper size, so I find that 
this type of printing does work with little space - also I'm using 
water-based pigments, which don't have nasty fumes, which is also good when 
you're working in your "living" space -

   great    i dont know if we will do this in jan    just some time after all 
the hoidays are over and things have settled down a bit   you will be 
included whenever we do this

I just wanted to let all of you know - if you are participating in
exchange #3.....you are in for a _real_ treat! I was just over at
Barbara's house & we opened all the packages that have arrived and
looked at the prints. I truly think this is the best so far! There are
still a few boxes on their way to us, and we are looking forward to
getting them sorted and on the way back to you. 

You are going to be thrilled with your portfolio....these are truly
wonderful!
