Wish we all could see a show of yours in person. what an experience that would be. Japan is soooo far away!!!!! I especially like the way you light up the work. No track lighting for you! Congratulations Dave you said in your post that (so many of you will be making a tree). That sounds like an environmental impossibility. Will be anxious to see what the next exchange will be. Someone mentioned Dreams and Things, forgot, but it sounded good. But I agree with you. the theme thingie has been around now for a few exchanges, so let us just go for it!!! Whatever suits us this time. Bea What a great web page and a lovely photo of you! I especially like the black and white woodprints. Since I really prefer black and white as it is so dramatic. Gregory I know the Kampala show will be a lot of hard work, but it is so kind of you to ask us to participate. It sounds real exciting . Look at all the foreign countries that being on the Baren allows us the chance to expose our art. It is fantastic. Thanks ! I have come up with so many wierd themes for the Junin Toiro Exchange. Maybe we should start a web page especially devoted to this topic. I need input! Jeanne N. Ps. Back in the early eighties, the first one. I was learning unix on the uni's big mainframes at the time, and playing Adventure which was one of, if not the, first computer adventure game. It preceeded Zork and all the others that were later modelled on it. The uni's here all seem to have mac labs but I know that is because they get a special deal in the hope that students all go out and buy macs. Today is cooler thank goodness. Maybe that was why the computers were all snarly. Hopefully today will be better. The sacred tree participants list has now passed the thirty mark. I will be uploading later today. No-one has mailed me to ask to be taken off the list yet. Just to clarify things, if you wish to be in the exchange you _must_ join the onelist mailing group I set up yesterday so we can discuss the organisation off-list as David requested. The url is http://www.onelist.com/community/PrintAustralia Currently there are eight on that list. So I hope more of you will join the list today while I am out buying my Junin Toiro paper. Then we can discuss the details. Some of the mails I have received sound very interesting I think I am going to enjoy this very much, thankyou.
