No way! My husband was born and spent his early years in Texas and has many fond memories of the "Horny Toads" as he called them. We both recognized him right away. Wonderful print - thanks for letting us know how you did it! I really don't think there were any restrictions on how the dragon was to be made. Or even the size, as far as that goes. Several of them grew quite large before they were released! Welcome back to printmaking! I messed around with Flash when it first came out - but since I am not a full time computer whiz - never went any farther with it. Dimitris used it well, didn't he? I really enjoyed the mouse-over on the title. Wanda Patty Kilroy wrote: > one awesome site, Dimitris...I use flash professionally and your site is > Flash at it's best! Dimitris, This was a wonderful site, it did take a long time to download, but anyone looking at art work is used to that as images do take a long time. It was about 3 minutes on my computer, which is not long except if you are staring at the screen waiting for something to happen. I really liked your images. Can you make enough money in Greece to do art work full time or do you have another job? Your work looks as if you are spending a lot of time at it, the themes are very developed. Wish we knew you better! Keeppainting and printing! The email part did not work for me, I was going to post from the site and no box came up so you might want to check that. Thanks, Barbara!Even the toughest need a word of appraisal to continue! Like Maria said and I agree, it's like growing a baby and I add that it's a baby never going to grow old. Everything will be under chronic construction, that's for sure! How can an artist diminish his interstes by making money only on art? regards, Dimitris P.S.Pretty soon the mail will be A-OK! > The email part did not work for me, I was going to post from the site > and no box came up so you might want to check that. > Barbara __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Bea I believe the two reasons for the slow load is.... 1) Flash slows everything down considerably. It is interesting and the sound sometimes is interesting..... Dimitris sound I found after a few minutes ..... what we say in English as grating.... I realize for some people this would not be the case. Point in fact is during our weekly life drawing session in my studio, one person just cannot stand Jaz.... Singing or Musical. What a bummer..... 2) There are too many large images on one page. Take more than 4 minutes for them to load. I am on cable which brings stuff in at over 200k per sec....... Graham ps The imagery is most interesting.. ------------------------------ From: =?iso-8859-1?q?dimitris=20grammatikopulos?= Date: Sat, 26 Feb 2000 15:06:50 -0800 (PST) Subject: [Baren 8599] Re: dimitris site Thank you, Graham!
