Try your local second hand shops. There will be lots coming on the market because of the use of computer printing now which has made single letters obsolete....Don't forget if you want to put letters into words or sentences you will need some "spacers" and a "chock" to secure them. Mix your oil based inks with 1/2 Windsor Newton Artesian paint (water soluble oil paint) of the same color. It works well and then clean up with mean green, simple green's extra strength stuff. This process makes oil based ink water soluble when wet, so no more solvents. This works with etching and litho ink. As I read my notes will add to this info. How is the integrity of the ink affected during printing? Another less toxic method I have heard about for clean-up of oil based inks is to 1. scrap up as much ink as possible with a razor blade. 2. Then wipe up the minimal ink with baby oil. 3. then use simple green. Amanda, You can remove the key pads and with a damp cloth clean the surface. You will first have to get a philips screwdriver.....4 star shape....and remove the screws underneath. This allows the top cover to come away and you can easily access the key tabs removing them one at a time. Have a layout as to where they all go so you can replace them. You will notice that the key tabs in fact sit up on a pedestal and a small about of liquid will not get to the electronic guts of the key board as it only sits in the wells of the unit. Some how I think I am going to confuse you..... Take it to the dealer and have them clean it..... Graham Never ever ever run water on it to clean.
