Unless you know where they all go, by heart, I wouldn't pop them all out at once. Keyboards are fairly inexpensive these days though, at least for PC's. - ----- Original Message ----- From: To: Sent: Thursday, March 09, 2000 8:54 AM Subject: [Baren 8804] sticky keyboards and a trip to the NE > > In a message dated 3/8/00 12:18:18 PM, robertson@canby.com writes: > > << Amanda, if your keyboard is still working - then you are probably O.K. >> > > WANDA, as you can see my keyboard is not quite right. Plus the wonderful little translation book that Jack (am I remembering correctly?) did to go along with it. But just watching Dave working & visiting with the other craftsmen & his daughters - well worth the time it takes to view it. Glad to hear it's still going the rounds! We are getting down to the last couple of weeks with preparations for the exhibit. All the major colleges, universities, art groups and press media in the Chicago area have been contacted. Also the Chicago Art Institute and the Chicago Coalition of Artists have been in touch. The press media stuff is already coming out and the local cable channel is going to add us to their programming. Close to 500 announcement cards will go out next weekend. Can you say....ayyyyyyyy caramba!!!! As Eddie Murphy would say in SNL..."okay little children... Can you say".....75 International Printmakers all in one show ! If you are still working on your bios, print details or looking for your lost checkbooks....this is the time! All the stuff that's going to hang will go to the printers by March 03/16 (my birthday !). Finished up the last insurance form (needed by the library) today detailing value on each and every single one of your prints in case of "problems". If you have not contacted me regarding the show, I will apologize right now for any mixspell ngs regarding your namme or homtown. As Doris Day would sing....Que sera....sera! Local Baren member Sharen Linder will give me a hand on April 2 hanging the prints. Big THANKS! CUT, PRINT........and EXHIBIT!
