This works in the oily stuff and in the water based pigments. I have lots of things to try now. I will let you know if it works and how many impressions I need to get that velvety dark I want, without resorting to black alone. Those bakashi graduations may be beyond me, but I will give it my best shot. Dave and Graham, I am bringing these plates to boot camp, so be thinking about this, I want to see how the true hanga printers would do this! I am going out to start carving today! Also I am so excited about these images in my head that I am planning to use the "good" paper. That should make you smile, Graham! This is the best forum, great advise and encouragement.
