Greg, all the info you need is on this page: http://www.woodblock.com/forum/exchange/index.html You do not have to rush to get in if you have not participated before. As you will read, there is a 'closed' period where those who have not participated in the immediately previous exchange can sign up at their leisure during a 7-day spread. The rush does come after, when those of us who are exchange 'junkies' wait until precisely 12:00:01 Tokyo-time to sign up, when the 'open' period begins. While you are browsing, make sure you look at the Swap Shop, an ongoing exchange program, and at the portfolios of past exchanges. Looking forward to your participation. You will probably not need any solvent but if you do apply a little to the rag not directly to the block. I will try that--the Graphic Block Print Ink I'm using is quite sticky, will try with minimum amount of solvent. Same subject matter, limited number of members per group, only exchange with each other, but the number of groups could grow to accomodate the people who want to get in. And since several folks have websites they love to put things up on, perhaps that would be a way for everyone to see everything from all groups. This has probably been thought of before, but just in case.... dwight ------------------------------ From: "Philip Smith" Date: Thu, 22 Jun 2000 18:32:56 -0700 Subject: [Baren 10160] Re: Next Exchnage Actually Dwight I haven't heard this before,...and I think it's a good idea!!! Though I have personally only met one of your group (Dave, of course), seeing the cast of characters made me feel just a wee part of the effort. Perhaps this is also because I not so long ago was involved in a bit of a similar work effort back on this side of the continent, a workshop at the Horizons center in MA. Images from the three-day event are posted at : http://www.ooloopress.com/studio/Studio.html Matt Note: (All the pictures from Graham's workshop showed up fine here on my machine.) ------------------------------ End of Baren Digest V11 #1053 *****************************
