I have one in my backyard (the studio backyard). It is a marvelous , wondrous tree. I am going to take a picture of it and send it to you. My husband keeps threatening to cut it down as it grows rapidly and sends out many roots. I keep winning however. I could not get pics of your print, perhaps I was too impatient, I will try again. Thanks for sharing. Is that true, and if so does anyone have a source for any leftover stock? I am using them for suminigashi marbling and they work great. Does hunt have a website. I saw an ad which listed www.speedballproducts.com but it didn't work. I think you can use as many colors on a reduction print as long as you keep them transparent enough not to become mud. I have a series going of reduction print masks and I'm up to my seventh one. The nice thing about printing one color over another is I've found colors I've never seen before. I also like the reduction printing because in the past my editions have been very large. These are editions of 10 and the printing is really fast so I can get on to the next one. I don't know how many I will end up with but as long as there is another in my head I will keep going. Excuse the overly long silence ... :~) Today being July the 1st, it is the day that sign-up will begin for Exchange #7. We're still going through all the comments and suggestions that have been received over the past couple of weeks, and later today the sign-up page will be finalized and placed at: http://woodblock.com/forum/exchange/exchange_sign-up.html (there is nothing there yet - the page will go up later today ...) (If you forget this address, remember that you can always get to it from the Administrative Links page from the woodblock.com main page.) Sign-up will begin at midnight Tokyo time (3:00 PM GMT). For reference, that will be 8:00 AM July 1st for the Pacific coast of the US, 11:00 for New York, and 4:00 PM for England (all these times are summer time). If you are browsing the sign-up page before that time, please be aware that the content of the page will change at midnight (to announce that the sign-up has begun), so you should use your 'Reload' button to get the newest version at that time. My apologies for being so tardy with this, but there has been rather a lot going on recently ... Which leads me to mention that more photos from last month's workshop are now up in the 'Events and Activities' section (get to it from the woodblock.com main page ...) More will appear there over the next few days as I have the time for it ... Is that true, and if so does anyone have a source for any leftover stock? I Hi, Toni! I stopped at our local artist supply store. They have an 'introductory price on a new product'--Speedball Pigmented Acrylic Ink. They have some lovely colors in 'introductory' (bitsy) jars for $1.39 each. If this is what you need, let me know off line and I'll help. Perhaps out of this you may read that your favorite product has been replaced. I have gotten a company address for you. It may help you to contact them. Speedball Products Co., P.O. Box 5157, Statesville, N.C., 28687. I have been off working on, and posting my web pages. I'm happy to say they are officially up and functioning. If you get a chance please visit http://www.netcom.com/~fgall There are several pages of prints and drawings. As for the exchange, I really love the nursery rhyme theme mentioned by ???(sorry). However, "fun" also has great potential. I'm always up for a good laugh. But the sign-up page is now ready for your perusal. http://woodblock.com/forum/exchange/exchange_sign-up.html The page will refresh at midnight here in Tokyo, and sign-up will begin at that time.
