Today I tried it, and all I can say zis "oh baby!I think I'm in love." I purchased a Type A "smooth" and it really works very well on my Merrican papers with oil based inks. As you know, oily folk need more muscle to print, especially on dry, tough papers. I hate to admit that something works just as well as my wood-mushroom barens, but this baby glides around beautifully. It also looks very elegant, all dressed in black leather (woah, we're getting a bit kinky, sorry :-) Health to all, Maria <><><><><><><><><><><><><><> Maria Arango Las Vegas, Nevada, USA http://www.1000woodcuts.com maria@mariarango.com <><><><><><><><><><><><><><> ------------------------------ End of Baren Digest v14 #1342 ***************************** 4Rq tGeneva`nw@/ @ <'@ cP@@p@0@`@0@`x@3@`R4@$T <,~]* dAAHHdFdAAd@j@j
