Bea ------------------------------ From: ArtfulCarol@aol.com Date: Fri, 6 Apr 2001 14:54:45 EDT Subject: [Baren 14123] New site Hi, I am now on a commercial site --artfulstyle.com. They want you to browse through the images so the order of the pages changes regularly. Once you find the one you are looking for you can click onto all the images by that person. I would appreciate comments. (Be honest , but kind (( oxymoron?)) ) Thank you Carol Lyons rst-art.com/artfulcarol.htm ------------------------------ From: David Bull Date: Sat, 07 Apr 2001 07:56:44 +0900 Subject: [Baren 14124] Snakes? You want snakes? Just got a note from Matsumura-san of 'Woodlike Matsumura'. He has finally finished preparing the display pages for the new year cards he received this year. There are way too many for one page, so they are spread out across seven pages: http://www.woodlike.co.jp/gallery2001_nen001.html http://www.woodlike.co.jp/gallery2001_nen002.html http://www.woodlike.co.jp/gallery2001_nen003.html http://www.woodlike.co.jp/gallery2001_nen004.html http://www.woodlike.co.jp/gallery2001_nen005.html http://www.woodlike.co.jp/gallery2001_nen006.html http://www.woodlike.co.jp/gallery2001_nen007.html The surrounding text is all in Japanese, so it won't display on your screens, but you can certainly see the pictures with no problem. And as a nice 'bonus' every one is linked to a full-size scan .... *** Re: exchange #10 Sign-up for #10 has been going very well indeed, and the exchange is actually now 'full'. We still need a few more names for 'backups', and I know we'll get these when it opens for 'general' sign-up shortly. Please note: a few of you who participated in #9 tried to sign-up for #10 this past week, but I'm sorry, we've not included you on the list. With this much heavy demand for spots in the exchanges, we must strictly stick to that rule of allowing others first chance at each new one. Of course, once 'general' sign-up begins, you are free to try again, along with everybody else ... Somebody pointed out to me this morning that what this 'full' situation indicates is that we actually have 60 people here on [Baren] who are 'active' to the point of going so far as to make this many prints ... We always knew we had lots of lurkers, but to have this many people 'come out' is very pleasing ...
