Baren Digest Sunday, 13 May 2001 Volume 15 : Number 1418 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Roxanne Sexauer Date: Sat, 12 May 2001 14:44:57 -0800 Subject: [Baren 14425] Re: Printmaking Charity Auction Dear All - I realize that I've been posting to this site rather (O.K. very) infrequently of late, but wanted to alert you all to our printmaking auction to raise money for summer travel scholarships for my students. Hopefully, I will not offend anyone by making this gentle pitch. Usually we just put the prints up in-house, but this year I thought to try it out on eBay to see what we might net. My image is (of course) a woodcut, as is that of Beatriz Macais. The rest are a varied lot, but at least it might give you all an idea of how diverse our printmaking area is. Once you get on eBay, if you just type in CSULB, and it will take you to the prints. Conversely, you can plug in blackdolphinworkshop under seller I.D. Thank you - Roxanne Sexauer Long Beach, CA ------------------------------ From: David Bull Date: Sun, 13 May 2001 21:50:40 +0900 Subject: [Baren 14426] Re: Process photos ... For those who have been watching the process photos of my current print at: http://woodblock.com/surimono/process/process_frame.html ... the work is now finished, and the final step is on display. Also, by popular demand (well, one person asked!), I've put up actual size scans of all the blocks in the set. Thanks for watching this past week!
