Baren Digest Tuesday, 17 July 2001 Volume 16 : Number 1493 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- From: "Rudolf Stalder" Date: Mon, 16 Jul 2001 10:03:10 -0700 Subject: [Baren 15185] large print exchange Hello everybody, The number of Bareners interested in the "Large print exchange" is currently at "24". I am actually preparing a questionnaire addressing items such as the number of prints, deadlines etc., also including some attractive concepts as well. This questionnaire will be sent to everybody having sign up until the end of this month, and the results will be posted at the Barens Forum. They will serve as a base to discuss the definite modalities of the exchange. Happy cutting Rudolf Stalder (coordinator) ------------------------------ From: Daniel Dew Date: Mon, 16 Jul 2001 10:25:19 -0400 Subject: [Baren 15186] Request As my 'puter at home is sick, please send all "off list" e-mails to the address listed above. I can read the e-mails that are sent to my home, just not able to respond that promptly. I bought a package of ceiling tile, 2' x 4' for about $16 at Home Depot. You can pin the prints to them easily with dressmaker pins because they are so porous. You can move them around easily and stack them in one corner if you have to, all with the prints still on them. I am forwarding this to some folks I know who own galleries funded by the goverment, who could use this tip. dan dew > From: "Jean Eger" > Reply-To: baren@ml.asahi-net.or.jp > Date: Mon, 16 Jul 2001 09:50:33 -0700 > To: > Subject: [Baren 15187] displaying prints > > I stumbled across a useful way of displaying prints for open studios.
