It is up to each of us to do all we can to educate in the arts. I read a paper about my daughters early learning experiences, she is going for her masters degree at Lewis and Clark, I made a difference. The schools would have destroyed her if I had not taught at home. When I travel south to Baja the children are learning from mom how to weave baskets and make pots and all sorts of other wonderful arts. I have often wondered why our culture expects all learning to be done at school and where the ability to pass down knowledge from genertion to generation has gone to? Teach your children about art.
