Baren Digest Tuesday, 15 January 2002 Volume 18 : Number 1686 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- From: "N.D. Wederstrandt" Date: Mon, 14 Jan 2002 10:38:37 -0600 Subject: [Baren 16691] Introduction I've been on this list for a few days and thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Nancy Wederstrandt and I'm a real novice at wood blocks and other prints. I've been doing art for a number of years and have always been drawn towards the concept just time and space didn't allow for me to try it out. For the past year and a half I've been working with a woodworker who specializes in crowbows for collectors and museums and since most of the older models involve wood, I've been learning woodworking. Suddenly it was less intimidating to try a print so I have embarked on a new skill. To say I'm totally fascinated is probably and understatement but I'm happy to have found this list. I'm looking forward to reading your notes and asking some very basic questions and learning a lot more. Once I recieve a package back, I can scan them and host them on my site, if that's O.K.? Hey different council folks, can we post them on your association site also? Florida Printmakers Council will post them and sell them, absolutely free. Anyone else? Huh? ------------------------------ End of Baren Digest V18 #1686 *****************************
