As for the source of MDF, as Phillip pointed out, it is available at most building supply stores ... mine came from Home Depot. It is more and more being used for cabinets etc. instead of plywood. I find it available in 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 inch thicknesses. It comes in 4x8 foot sheets, but many places carry smaller chunks for handyman (handyperson ??) projects. I have been doing some home renovations, and I am just using the left over scrap ... some 1/2 and some 3/4 inch. And Phillip, what kind of ink are you using with it? Are you doing anything special to seal the MDF against the ravages of water or solvents? Does it hold up well for large editions? Thanks for all advice .......
