Hi Randi: It wont. Cheap acrylic paints will also fade. "I am going on record to say that I do not care for "Cedar Hill" Funny Carol: on first site the first thought I had was "oh how beautiful!" "I presume plywood is O.K. But, am I allowed to enter if I am carving MDF? Just thought I had better check." I also hope that whatever surface that can be carved is acceptable as I will cut into any flat surface that needs relief... Regarding this KC Summit...is there info about it somewhere? My Sister gets married next June 21 in Dallas, perhaps I can combine two events into one trip? So What, When, Where and How Much (gotta start budgetin' now). [;-)] But it'll be mid-June, 2003 and will likely include the weekend of June 21st, but you can come for part of the time, at least. Cost? There will be a limit to the number who can come, so we will require a deposit -- maybe $100 -- maybe half that to make your 'reservation' -- if you don't show up, you forfeit your deposit -- after you show up, you get it back (assuming we don't break any windows or set fire to the place). Otherwise, the week is FREE, FREE, FREE and you can even bring your sleeping bag, etc. and camp in the studio -- same low price (I did say FREE, didn't I?)!! Participants must be members in good standing of Baren Forum, of course. Well, that's what we're thinking. How's that sound to you? Hi, Sarah! Happy Midsommer, everyone! Rio Grande will surely have it. They have wonderful catalogues! Graphic may have it. I get Putz Pomade from them, but it may be the same or different from jeweller's rouge. Flipping through the pages I was surprised to find title this among all the goofy super heroes and even sillier Japanese manga girls: LYND WARD'S LAST UNFINISHED WORDLESS NOVEL Introduction by Michael McCurdy. Beautifully printed on heavy deckle-edged paper. Cloth-bound with gold foil stamping. Rutgers University, 2001. [Expected: July]. HC, 8x11, . Apparently, Rutgers printed a small edition of 100 from the actual blocks to a novel Ward left unfinished at his death in 1985. Some fifty blocks were destroyed, uncut or missing, hence "unfinished". If you want to read more about it, check out: http://www.budplant.com/prod.itml/icOid/9957 Julio, is this part of your collection yet?
