I grew up in Barcelona, visited Madrid several times. Unfortunately I was
too young to care about art, so I didn't get the benefit of the rich culture
in Espa–a.
Any case, keep an eye out for exchange deadlines and also go to the
barenforum.org site for tons of information and schedules on the exchanges.

And speaking of which! I just received my latest Swap Shop bundle and the
prints are lovely indeed. Thanks all who participated. I'm already gathering
my next batch to send to the Swap Shop Swami: Mr. James Mundie. I love these
little gems! I may even venture forth another try at moku-hanga for the next
one.

Somebody mentioned the Swap Shop on the Baren. A great place to get started
with no deadlines and a minimum number of prints to do.

As a newcomer to "Baren" I am wondering what kind of a "block" you are 
writing about, and whether it is something I should get??

Years ago I did quite a few linocuts and loved doing them, then spent about 
25 years doing etchings and am looking forward now to trying wood engraving.

Also looking forward , when I have a bit more time, to thoroughly exploring 
the Baren web page.

Hello Jane,

Here is the page with the info on those mysterious puzzle blocks. The
deadline for this one has come and gone but...fear not! another insane
project is brewing in the minds of printmakers all over the world. I will do
at least one more puzzle or similar collaborative project, probably starting
late next year. After that I have a completely insane idea that would be
sooooooooooooooooooo much fun for the nature lovers in the group yet also of
academic interest, totally intriguing...shh shh shh... ;-)
