Baren Digest Sunday, 4 May 2003 Volume 23 : Number 2212 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Emkaygee#aol.com Date: Sat, 3 May 2003 12:19:03 EDT Subject: [Baren 21417] Re: Baren Digest V23 #2211 Hello Everyone! I have been a loyal lurcker for a while now, so I thought that in all fairness I should introduce myself. I am a part-time college senior at Ursuline College (Pepper Pike, OH) majoring in Fine Art with concentrations in Drawing and Printmaking. I have 4 children, so obviously I'm a non-traditional student! I'm relatively new to the printmaking scene, but I am facinated by the many different techniques and applications that it has. Hanga printmaking is not really discussed in any of my classes, so I have been trying to grasp it's concepts through reading. I am very excited to be attending the Baren Summit, where I hope to be able to fill in some of the gaps that I'm sure I must have. I promise not to be a pest! I've noticed that sometimes members meet each other when they are traveling. I would love to meet some of you before the Summit, so I don't go in without knowing anyone. I will be in Chicago next weekend (Thursday - Sunday) with my husband for Art Chicago at Navy Pier. If anyone is in the area, maybe we can go for coffee? Looking forward to meeting you! Used with a 'T' square and a plastic, self-healing cloth cutting mat, I easily cut through small stacks of papers. The lines drawn into the mat makes it a snap to align the paper and it also provides a true edge to move the 'T' square against. My website server changed and I didn't realize that it effected my e-mail service too. I tested my e-mail from work and I received the e-mail at home - I have now discovered that was because their internet service happens to be with the same company and that any 'outside' e-mail were being returned. Once again, very sorry everyone who responded to my enquiries. I will be able to pickup any responses that were directed to the forum by checking the online archives, but if anyone sent any directly to me, could they please resend them. Thank you. Sorry for any inconvenience. =Chris Bailey= ------------------------------ From: FurryPressII#aol.com Date: Sun, 4 May 2003 00:20:05 EDT Subject: [Baren 21420] Re: Baren Digest V23 #2211 mary green i live in chicago when and were to meet? john center ------------------------------ End of Baren Digest V23 #2212 *****************************
