Am carving my #21 blocks and the wood seems to splinter more than before.
Using basswood blocks. Any suggestions on how to reduce this. Yes my tools
are sharp!

varnesh the blocks, or oil them and they should not splinter as much.

Hate to be the barer of bad baren news but my email
box has recently experienced an influx of viruses.
Unfortunately, they have stemmed from my baren forum
so someone out there has a virus that is spewing
itself onto the forum through the mailing list.
