Hi Eva,
Just type
Tools and Woodblock Prints
in the title area, press Go and you will get David Bull's complete
description of all the tools and their use.

Be careful if you are left-handed because the to is different for "us"

I use the To first and then maru-nomi or the clearing tool. I never needed a
mallet.
Rules?

(By the way it is very helpful if people would write their whole names and
where they are from. You might discover a neighbor. It's a puzzle when an e-mail
comes from xyz and no location . We have several people named Mary, John,
Dave, Barbara, Jim and Carol)

I got a message from printmaker Okamoto-san this morning - his new
English website is now open at:

At first I didn't recognize who the mail was coming from, because I
knew him as Yoshimi Okamoto; seems he has changed his name.

Anyway, I think you will be pretty pleased with the prints ...

Apologies for the double posting here, but I forgot to mention ...
There is a 'Contact' section on that website, with email, etc., and Mr.
Okamoto can handle English emails with no problem at all. I am sure
that he would be most interested to hear your reactions to his work, so
please feel free to write to him.
