Great thoughts. I like Sandra's food idea, I would like to something like "Fear of Food" - So many modern day connotations there. Or Feast/Famine

I want to be a machine (or I DONT want to be a machine)

Loving the creative ideas everyone's suggestions are causing.

Mike,

I really like the idea of "honouring" our printmaking
"Hero"/"Teacher"/"Inspirational Educator"/ "Technique Inspirator"/
"whoever"...... it sounded wonderful....thank you to the person whoever
suggested this topic.....?Ewoud maybe..... but welcome too.

Wonderful suggestion.

I will even wait in line to have my name on the list.

Mailing costs......

Please no one complain about the cost of postage for Exchanges...... if
you want to be in an exchange then there are costs involved. You don't
have to be in every exchange so pick and choose the subjects you prefer
or the time frame you prefer.

If you want to be part of a group and learn from others then the
exchanges are one of the best ways to see first hand what others are
doing. Believe me there is no substitute than "hands on" examination
of prints rather than just viewing them "on line".

If you want to complain about mailing costs.....come and join me in
Australia, and Perth at that. I am probably the furthest away from
any co-ordinator we have had on Baren. If you want to see what postage
is like I will willingly put up my hand to be a co-ordinator!!!!!!

I went to the post office today to get my international return mailing
vouchers for Mary for the #22 Exchange prints and a single Economy Air
fare will cost me $15 Australian, and with extra dollars for return
that cost me a total of $33 (not including the packaging). That should
take about 10 days to 2 weeks to get there to KY. To send it sea mail
takes three months. I think my Large Print Exchange cost me $90 plus
the flat packaging and reinforcement!

Australia is a beautiful country and I wouldn't swap it for any other
place in the world.... so postage and air travel to Bootcamp and
workshops and visiting is something that we do for pleasure and to meet
our fellow Bareners. I have had a couple of visitors, but you are all
welcome.

Cheers everyone,

Jan

PS It might have been Sharri that suggested the influencial printmaker
topic, sorry Sharri.
