Greetings friends,

Just in time for the end of the year, I have returned to the forum
after a year and a half hiatus. I am now on the east coast and am
busier than ever but need some structure to get me back into art
production--I do a lot of art-related things but not much art-making.

After an exhausting few days around thanksgiving, during which I
printed the majority or my 220 christmas card linos, I found that
mulberry is now my favorite paper. I am looking forward to getting
back into my series of woodcuts by using some nice mulberry paper and
my barely broken in ball-bearing baren.

I am also wondering if anyone will be attending the L.A. print fair
in late january. I will be in the city and area for business during
that weekend and already plan to attend the fair at some point. There
are a couple dealers I need to see, but it would be fun to meet some
bareners if I have time in my schedule.

And, for those who have no idea who I am, take a look back through
some exchanges from about 1999-2003 and you'll see some of my work.

Tyrus

Collagraphs are a raised surface, woodcuts are cut into the surface, thus
recessed. To do a plate with both would require an interesting printing
technique??? And whatever happened to my mail?
Guess it is the server here in baja and all the people here visiting who are
online.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!
