The woodblock prints and ideas of Bobby Rosenstock look FAB to me!! And
this person says he is brand new to hanga .

What will be when he is "experienced"?
Congrats to you Bobby.
And he is located on the West coast. Maybe we can entice him into coming to
the Summit II.

My admiration and Congrats go to Colleen for the Violin abstract prints and
the awesome Wave of Tsunami in her exhibit!

All this enthusiasm and I haven't had breakfast yet...

Bobby, nice work! I agree with Barbara that your web pages are slow,
but I wanted to see them so waited. :-) I too have a broadband
connection and it still downloaded slowly, so people with dial-up might
become discouraged. Your woodcut, "Soup" is interesting because of its
lyricism in the tilt of the figure's head which gives it a loveliness.
Then I was teased by the ambiguity of the meaning, feeling first a
sense of gratefulness and then a haunting despair. The line work in
your "hiker" is exciting. (I can especially appreciate your subject as
my oldest son is about to begin the PCT Trail beginning in Southern
California near the border at Mexico and will be gone for about five
months, hiking 2,650 miles to the Canadian border.)
