Fabulous! That went into my RSS reader right away, and I look forward
to seeing the icon announcing each new entry! Great idea, and please
put up lots of pics as you go along!

Andy, Thanks for sharing your site. I enjoyed your engravings a lot. It made me want to try engraving some time.
I am developing as a woodblock person and have a dilemma. I love the water media, therefore have been trying hanga. But the precision of preplanning my images is making multi block printing a poor choice for me. With a background in painting and a love of color I am not sure how to get multi colored blocks. I have done a few reduction prints and this can work for me. But I like to let the wood speak to me and move with the image and let it develop on the block and that does not allow for preplanning. So, any sugestions on how to do multi colored prints when one does not have a clue when one starts where one will end up? Do any of you do this with success and how do you do it? I want my prints to be water media if possible.

Bette, thanks so much for the congratulations on the Exchange print that is
on Branches magazine. You may think it is a bit late, but today I really
needed the pat on the back. Thanks from the bottom of my heart!

Hello Andy. I enjoyed viewing your "blog" and your work. All well done to be
sure. I also use a blog to show my current work and to invite viewer
responses...oh yeah, and to solicit sales as well! I am relatively new to the world of
"woodcuts" so I still have much to learn. The "Baren" site is invaluable in
this regard. And I am very pleased that my recent introduction here brought many
kind and supportive comments. My blog is:

Thanks Harry for sharing your site. I really enjoy your work, it really has a lovely feeling to it.

Thanks also Andy for sharing your blog-site, I think the concept is interesting. I loved seeing the block and the print and enjoyed reading about the process. Of course I also enjoyed viewing your website and art again, too-

best wishes
Sarah
