Hello, Ive been a lurker since march and thought i
should introduce myself. I am a
papermaker/marbler/printmaker entering the last year
of a bfa program at the school of the museum of fine
arts, boston. Ive been doing a lot of research in the
print collections in boston for marbling research but
have seen a lot of interesting prints- if anyone is
planning on coming to boston i would suggest making
appointments with some of the print collections-it's
worth it. Annyway i really like wood relif printing
and have started experimenting with waterbased inks, i
hope to combine my marbling and printmaking in the
future. I should have a website up soon. As far as a
possible theme for the october exchange- what about
monsters or tengu?

Just a note that "Surimono" (#21), "Tribute to an influential printmaker (#23 ) and "Lefties can carve" Baren exchanges were displayed at a one day conference of Head Teachers at the Education Centre, Whisby Nature Park, Lincoln, UK. on 12th July 2005.
The conference members, as always, were overwhelmed with the prints. I was bombarded with questions and further invitations to schools and centres for workshops and exhibitions of printmaking.
I send the information so that you may add it, if needed, to your overflowing CV's!
Regards,
Harry
