Printing Press

Does anyone know anything about this printing press? What type etc
.... the query has come from a member on Print Australia.
I said I would ask and get back to her although you can email her
directly if you wish.

To me it looks like a poster printing press, something like a Jobbing
Platen press.... but I'm no expert on these things, so have called for
some backup!!

Colleen Corradi from Italy. Your rooster card was returned to me. The poor thing is minus its head, looks to have been devoured by a postal machine. It came back in a new envelope. There were 3 pieces in that enevelope, the bottom of the rooster print and both halves of an envelope, obvioulsy torn. On the top of the top half of the envelope is stamped "damaged n handling". I could just send on the decapitated version, but will try again soon to get you a rooster with a head. Lets hope the postal machine is full next time.
Looks like these Japanese Tengu creatures will be the next subject for the exchange. There are days when i would like to put a bird head on this husband of mine. Perhaps this would be a grand excuse, if i feel i can find the time to carve it. Sounds like fun!

Just in case things go terribly wrong... the idea of doing an exchange featuring Tengu (or other monsters) was proposed about a month ago by Melinda. I also approve of Barbara's call for an all-hanga exchange.

What does an "all hanga exchange" mean exactly? I've googled hanga and have been trying to educate myself, but I haven't come up with a precise definition as yet.
