We have uploaded to the baren website what we think are all the doggie
prints received so far......thanks to Carole Baker for all the scans and
image uploads...
As an incentive to get everyone going with their prints, we have
highligthed in GREEN the names of those already received. You can compare
the 'green' list
to those cards you have received to make sure you got them. Also if you
have sent cards but are not on the list let us know. I think Ellen's dog
print arrived this morning (with her Solstice) and has not been uploaded
yet to the website.

We will be working on the 2005 Rooster prints scans soon.

Mindy, there are no restrictions of print-making media on the dog
prints. You may stencil, glue, whatever as much as you want. You sure
won't get any complaints from *my* post office box! :-)

Remember, there are no failures - only new opportunities to learn from
our mistakes.

Hi everyone,

This is Wanda, your friendly barenforum moderator.

I am getting complaints from busy people who are being obliged to read
postings on the forum that would be better posted to after-5 or posted
to the other person individually. Please, when you start to answer a
post, ask yourself these questions: Am I talking to only one or two
people with this post? (if so, send it directly to those people) Am I
posting about woodblock printmaking or printmaking at all? (If it's
about a blog - add your name to the baren blog, then a once a day alert
will be sent to baren members to check it out) Is it a congratulation
to someone for a new show, or some other personal event in their life?
(Then why not take the time to send it directly to them - much more
personal & heartfelt than posting on the main baren forum)

Have you thought of joining the after-5 forum? Lots of interesting
discussions going on there right now. The main topic lately is
regional accents - with some funny & intrigueing (is that a word?)
posts on the subject. You can sign up from the main page at

Have a good day, everyone!

Oh whew! I jumped right to the site to see my doggie and it wasn't there! But now I know it'll be coming soon. 8-]

They're all so great! I don't have all of those yet, but I'm sure they'll be coming. I just love this exchange!

Thanx,
Ellen
