Sarah,
The paper I used from McClain's was Echizen Kozo. It is 26" x 38" and
as the catalog says, the colors seem to glow from within. Each print
had 10 or more drops and it took the abuse handsomely. Each sheet is
$20, but is pretty reasonable (until you blow one) considering the
size.

Cheers!

O.K. At long last my rooster prints are in the mail. I still have a few
left. If there is anyone who is NOT on the official rooster exchange list
but who would like to exchange rooster prints, please send me your snail
mail address off-line.

Very sorry for the delay ... I had some health issues to deal with. Dog
prints are in the design stage.

Cheers ........ Charles

I've just posted a couple of photos of the first completed print plus
a short video documenting the final impression being pulled on an
8-block reduction woodcut on 77x42 inch huge Japanese paper --

I keep forgetting to say that all the pup-dogs who are thundering
through here are wonderful! Thank you to everyone who has sent one -
it would be hard to pick a favorite. My doggies are on their way, they
were mailed Monday morning and should be landing in your mail boxes any
day.

Cheers and happy dog year,
Sharri

Absolutely fascinating invention! I'm enjoying watching the videos.
Love the leave design. It looks like the registration side of the paper
is deckle edge. If so, how do you register the paper?
Way to Go!
