I have the same press barbara! I have been using it for almost 2 years now and I love the little sucker!
Forgive me friends if this is out of line but...
I also own my own art supply company and I sell these on a regular basis. I have all the press sizes.

My studio at home is small so I use the little one, and I also try to keep my own prints relatively small so I have not upgraded to a larger size.
I am offering printmaking classes at my store location so will be investing in the 23" x 36" press of the same maker.
The 23" x 36 can print relatively thick blocks as it has a roller clearance of 1 5/8" without the blankets.
Glad you like yours! It is a nice machine.

care, so here goes :
I am discussing and showing Baren exchange # 27 "Mythical Beasts" at the
Lincolnshire Educational Arts Forum (LEAF) at the Bishop Grossteste College

I just received a new shipment of linoleum from Blick, and it's a tan
color and rather rough. I usually work on the very smooth gray
linoleum (or wood) and haven't encountered this material before. Do
any of you have suggestions for preparing the surface of the linoleum
before carving and printing?

thanks!

I have sanded the brown lino with fine paper on a sanding block so it stays
even. Seems to cut ok. Takes in well.

Kris...

I've used the 'gold' from Blick and didn't like cutting it as it seemed to resist the knife a little, plus it felt a little grainy while cutting. Definitely keep your knives sharpened. Fortunately it inks up the same as the battleship grey.
