I am the liaison person between Baren and the American Print Alliance...for some reason this text is in bold...wish I knew more about computers, rats.
At any rate, the Alliance gives a 20% discount to baren members.
They also want mailing lists, I know we do not actually have a physical list but if you want to be on their list, let me know. Send name and address to me and I will add you to the list. If you sent it to me last year, you do not need to resend it unless you have moved. It will mean one or two emails a year from the Alliance.
I do know they are starting another traveling show, something like the Memorial Portfolio that happened after 9-11. I will post the places the 9-11 portfolio exhibited in a separate email for your resumes.
There will be info posted on the list as soon as all the details are worked out, but the size will be 8x10 vertical and the theme will be the environment or something close to that.
The Alliance is an organizations of non-profit printmaking councils, baren hopes to finally be a real non-profit soon, the IRS has actually assigned someone to look at our paperwork, the farthest we have come in the process in 3 years of trying to file it correctly and get it moving forward.

The Alliance has had 7 traveling exhibits and shown work in over 600 venues...so it is a good thing. I encourage you to join if you can.

The following is a plea to join the Alliance and subscribe to the newsletter, which is more like a small magazine. Subscribers may show one image in the on line Gallery's Print Bin -- free. When every subscriber sends us a slide, this will soon be "the" place to be seen. With hundreds of images there, curators will automatically come to the site to find any printmaker in the U.S. and Canada.
Somehow the bold type went away...amazing.
Best to all,
Barbara
