Hi Robert,
I still haven't heard anything back from you about my extra prints. I
presume they are
the 3 extra that I sent to bring the total up to 31. I would like to
have them back. I only
had the one in the exchange & one extra in the exchange package.

Help please.

Longing to scan and get on with the next Baren exchange ,my letter --"Z"!

What scanner do you use for image resizing proportionally in inches.?
My old tried and true, fast and reliable, is not working and no longer
fixable or available . I need another and am learning that I can't find one to
do the simple procedures that I took for granted.

The new ones deal in pixels or cms and specialize in removing red from the
eyes in photos , etc. The salesperson assures that the scanners I buy can do
the resizing , but NO! I am now experienced with installing quickly and
returning.

Do I sound as if I'm at my wit's end with this situation.?
Thank you.

Carol,

Many (most) scanners come with software that emulates a photocopy
machine ... these will have reduce and enlarge functions. I have a
newer HP scanner and an older Umax scanner, and both have software
with this feature.

Most scanners also come bundled with some sort of photo-editing
software. Just scan your image to a file (as opposed to using the
scanner as a photocopy machine). Then use your photo-editing software
to resize your image. Of course Photoshop and Photoshop Elements will
also resize an image once you have scanned it.

Cheers ..... Charles
