Hello All-
This is directed to Baren artists who've been involved with selling
an image for reproduction and copyright purchase - I seem to recall some
discussion of the subject a while back. A Company has asked me if I
would sell them one of my images (a woodcut) plus full rights as they wish
to incorporate it into their labels and advertising, etc. I haven't
the faintest idea of prices for this kind of thing - does it have
anything to do with one's selling price for the work? When they mention 'rights'
does it generally mean they would be the only people who can use the image
commercially - and not I would hope that I couldn't produce and sell more prints of this image?
I''d really appreciate it if anyone can give me a ballpark figure for
this kind of sale as I really don't know what to ask.
