Thanks, Maria. That's a really complete list of possibilities! I begin
to think that it's dry or hard paper, especially from what you said
about checking on newsprint. That _did_ get a hefty black. Hopefully
I'll get the chance to damp some tomorrow and see...

Dear Baren Folks,
Sorry about the previous 2 error emails. I do not know
how that happened.I suppose there are computer sips
from time to time like

I just checked to see if my year of the dog card was
on the gallery. My name is typed as Anne Husley and on
the participant list it is correctly listed as Anna
Haulenbeek Huskey. I did send out a year of the dog
print last year but it has not been updated that I did
on the participate list. I have once again signed up
for the exchange for the year of the Boar. I have not
recieved very many cards and I read they are being
sent out. Perhaps the confusion with my name has made
it seem that I am not here...so please do not forget
about me...I really enjoy getting these cards.

So to let you know my name is Anna Haulenbeek Huskey.
Perhaps the name could be corrected in the gallery.

I am getting psyched up to do the big print

Hi David - I don't know where you are in the UK but if you're
anywhere near Poole in Dorset -the Poole Printmakers is (or was there
2yrs ago) headed by a master wood engraver and printer,
John Liddell -I hope he's still around as I learned a lot from him
when I worked in their studio in '04 and '05 - so make enquiries if
you're anywhere nearby. I could find some phone numbers for
some of the people in that area if you wish.

Hi Louise,

Thanks for the advice. Poole isn't so far from here (or at least it's on
the way to my folks' place!). I just found their details off Google and
will give them a ring on Monday. They seem to have a weekend relief
printmaking course going at the end of April...
