Not sure the link worked before. The bird plate, hmm. Had this idea just
to leave the top rough and see how it printed out. Now that I have
experimented with all of this I think it is time to carve more on the block
and see what a total image might be. also think it might be time to sand it
down a bit smoother. It is fun and interesting to try different approaches.
at least it keeps ones mind working.

Hi Jan

Thanks for the nice words.
The page is very new and the numbers section is not working right yet. This
morning I had 24 visitors, then 75. then 56, now who knows????
But a minor problem.

I have been doing a lot of etching lately due to my bum wrist. I think I am
going to cheat and start carving linoleum and/or use a dremel. I miss doing
my woodblocks. That is why I have not been participating in the exchanges.

Also my love of painting kicked in again. Remember the fire I had in 2000?
All my paintings were destroyed and after that I tried to paint but could
not. Well, I finally started up again and I do not know if what I am doing
is any good or not. Anyway ,I have conquered whatever it was that was
preventing me from painting.

Are you still active in Print Australia??? I never really left but I have
not been active either. I hate confrontation and avoid it like a plague. I
still never quite understood what all the fuss was about.

Well, time to pull an etching out of its little bathtub!!!!

Thanks for getting in touch.
Regards
Jeanne
