Just surfing and found these interessting Japanese knives, sold in germany.
Anyone ever use this type of thing??? They seem a bit arkward without the
wood handle??

Marilyn, if you read down a little further it explains how you can
attach a bamboo
handle or make your own from wood. I'm certain they were never meant
to be
used "as is".

Hi Benny and all participants,
Cairn updates have been posted regularly to the list.

I just finished a fruitful festival season and it's looking like probably I
have by now received the very last block.
I cleaned my studio and made room for the three master blocks to be spread
out on one of my tables so I can start glueing the individual blocks to the
backing and start leveling and all those neat activities that precede the
actual printing.

I don't have a set date exactly when I will print, probably around January,
in that blissful time when the world seems to slow down after the holiday
rush and the streets are clean and clear. Out here in the Southwestern US,
we also have glorious daily cool, calm and bright sunny days.

Will post progress as progress happens!
