Hi, Guadalupe...
Unfortunately, the paper sizes for each exchange are 'set in stone' and cannot be changed. The size for #36 is a firm 8"x8" or 25.5cm x 25.5cm. If they don't conform they will be sent back and, if you have time before the deadline, you can replace them in the proper dimensions.
The reason, as I see it, for the same 'regulation' size for each particular exchange is that it has more of a 'collection' look to it when handling and can be shipped together easily as a unit. It is also a challenge to work within those parameters.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with. I love your work on the web.
