it is the BALANCE of the image that does change-
from left to right. or right to left .
depending on if one is left ,or right, handed .
while the image remains the same
just the inverse of itself

another thing the black and whites can do is shift back and forth
as to which is the "positive"
and they can hide images . make them less noticable .
then all of a sudden -you see it-
where you saw nothing before

or a shoulder turns into a wing
or there are four figures when it first appears as two

all these seem to be gifts from the black and white and our eyes,
optical illusions ?
its why i love to do woodcuts
and i learn a little more how to make woodcuts
each time i make one
thanks as always for being out there BARENERS!!
i have a different lifestyle, and just dont spend as much time on the
computer-
but i definetly read the digest ,religiously, if sometimes a little
belatedly,
i continue to be encouraged , cheered and inspired by
the BAREN FORUM
and to utilize the exchange programs as wonderfully
motivational and inspiring
as when we receive our sets of prints
i never thot of becomeing a print collector,
and now i are one
