Yes, I am. I'll try just water and paste. I did try it with a brush
yesterday, and it didn't noticeably affect the color, probably because
the pigment load is still so high and looking through the glass jar at
so much of the vehicle exaggerates its color density.

Also, I skipped the ox gall (since I'm not planning to paint), so it
doesn't disperse all that well. I assume that rice paste will take care
of that. Is that correct?
