Well, first, I must confess to a delay due to unforeseen circumstances. Post
Office delivered the wrong size boxes, the company I ordered the
out-of-country boxes delayed their order and the colophon was printed so
poorly that I couldn't bear to let it go.

Everything is now in order except the second try at the colophon which will
be delivered hopefully tomorrow.

All the boxes are waiting and I have collated the three prints per
participant so they are ready to go into their tubes. I just didn't want to
roll them too early.

Anyhow, I apologize for the very last delay.

I channeled my anger into energy and created the last pages of the project
on the web. Everyone has their own piece enlargement which you can get to
from clicking on any piece in the final image page. The last few days of the
process are also explained in detail for those of you who might undertake
something like this.

I also apologize to at least two printmakers whose pieces could not be
"rescued" enough to produce a full set of good prints. I tried everything I
know but in the end, they just became more and more "blobby" as the edition
went along. I am really sorry about that. I even re-carved one piece a bit
more deeply to no avail. The joint project requires that all little pieces
cooperate and compromise; while they would all be printed a bit differently
individually, when they all come together they have to get along with their
neighbors. Well, some just don't play team sports despite all my good
coaching.
