Hi Maria,
I'm hard at work on my print for #37--just drew my first blood!
I don't remember confirming that I'm for sure doing this so I thought I'd email you to make sure. I have a Mac and can't just email privately.

Hi Lynn.

I have a mac too. Love it!

To email a person off list, all you have to do is not use reply. Instead,
just look at either the header or the start of a person's email. It will show the
address there. Click on the name/addy and drag.

Let me rewrite that thank you to Maria for the wonderful job in the Cairn.
Well done, gambling city art maven.

I was also so impressed by your financial report. That is the FIRST
financial report I ever got from a Baren member for a print exchange. And
we are a 501C3 organization after all, ain't we?

So of course I will send you a contribution now that I have some idea of
what it cost. Thanks for letting us know.

I put my karma back in the kitty by volunteering locally to teach local
kiddies outdoors until I am so cold that I am nearly at freezing
temperature. We teach outdors down here because it is such a lawless city
that all people think about anymore is having fun punishing people for
things they might have done 40 years ago while they were being trained to
survive in the wild with no mommy or daddy to take care of them.

Some of us are trying to keep artists alive in this end of the county, since
art got such a bad reputation here, that people here still think we are a
bunch of drunks, a la Jackson Pollock, even though we quit drinking and
smoking years ago. Which reputation I have had to correct with my astute
art reviews, keeping all important information from the public on penalty of
not being allowed to do any art. So sorry I didn't salute the financial
flag immediately, like yesterday. The check is in the mail. I hope you
will find a place for me in Exchange #38.

Hello all Cairners - have I coined a new word -a play on people who CARE?!

My CAIRN package arrived today and I add my congrats and thanks to Maria for a
WONDERFUL job well done and thanks to all who participated - it was
fun to do wasn't it?

I vote for keeping CAIRN as a name for all projects of this sort,
Maria or even CAIRNERS INC??
