This little clip from Monty Python
might be welcome relief from the financial
gloom and doom these days....

Graham,

Well, somewhere along the line I missed, or forgot, about the clamp,
too. That sounds so much easier than trying to get a husband to do
what you want, especially one who is used to giving, not taking,
orders. ;-)

Cheers ~

I don't get Monty Python (never have, but my husband loves them!) so, is
this one supposed to be funny because it was Da Vinci that painted the Last
Supper?
huh?

I think you missed the humor completely....
Glad your hubby gets it....

Look at more of there clips and I think you will begin to appreciate
what they did 25 years ago...
They were away ahead of there time.

>Graham,
I have been subjected to lots of Monty Python (and the Three Stooges,
too)....Hubby loves 'em! To each his own.
I'll admit some of it is funny, but generally it's not for me.
I told Hubby about the skit and their mistaking the artist of the Last
Supper, Hubby thinks they did it on purpose - which I just don't get...is
there some humor there?
Terry

Just thought you might like to see my class at the kite foundation in Seattle.
I owe this to Baren, of course. I would never have been interested or taken the time to learn so much without all the help and support of this list and the encyclopedia, not to mention Dave and Graham and Richard Steiner. All of them struggled to teach me and it was not an easy task. The foundation itself is pretty interesting so go and read their newsletter.
By the way, the class filled in just a few days.
My best
Barbara

Terry, this is pretty funny but don't worry about not
getting Monty Python, I think it's probably a genetic
thing, like being color blind or tone deaf or hating
The Three Stooges.

Congratulations on the teaching assignment....

I must comment on the struggle to teach you.... You actually were a
dream
to teach.... I liken you the a sponge...you simply sucked it up
wonderfully.
Not only that you have gone on to do some work and more important you
break the rules.... so to speak... by playing my game.... “ I wonder
what if”.
Your work is you, I have recognized this over the years.

When a person you teach moves on to higher levels, it is such a
personal gratification.
Noboru Sawai and I have chatted about this and he has the same
philosophy.

“Artist never retire.... they draw to a conlusion”

Hugs,
Graham
