In Peter's defence, the UNYK program is not 'spam', it's a program
will collect your existing contacts from several different locations
(Yahoo!, Google, LinkedIn, Microsoft Outlook, MSN, etc.) and
consolidate them. It will allow you to access your contact list from
Outlook, your cell etc. and will keep your contact record up to date
for anyone who has you in their address book.

It does send out an invitation to join to a persons contacts but, of
course, you have the option to ignore the invitation.

There is more info at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unyk

I just rec'd two emails. One from The Baren, a second one all by itself.
Apparently we've been spammed by P. P. Kocak with an address grabber
via the
listserve. Oops! I'll be blocking my email from the latter. Hope that
The
Baren can do the same.

Hello All,

For reasons unknown to me the blog updater hasn't posted my past two blog entries.  I've enjoyed seeing what everyone else is up to and I just wanted to post the links for them in case anyone else feels the same.  Thanks and it's really great to visually see what everyone else is working on this summer!

Subject: [Forest in Summer - 6] : Two down ...
Posted by: Dave Bull

Continued from [Forest in Summer - 5] | Starting point of the thread is [Forest in Summer - 1]

So, the second block for the grasses is now done:

At this scale, there isn't much apparent difference from the first one for the greenery, but when you get close, you can see plenty - perhaps this block is about 15% or so trimmed back from the base block. Once we get started printing, we'll have some closeups to inspect them ...

Moving right along ... Although two levels isn't enough to produce all the effects I want on the greenery, from here on the shading blocks will be combined with those for other parts of the image. So let's have another 'base tone' block - this is the one for the tree that will fill most of the surface area of this print:
