Greetings Bareners,

A typographic theme seems to be popular so I would go for the Fleuron. (a
traditional, typographic floral ornament.) or even the Wingding derived
from digital typography!

I would love to participate in an annual moku hanga exchange. It would be helpful if perhaps it followed an annual pattern, or had a good long notice, to give us slowcoaches plenty of time to create enough blocks.

Many Online Social Networks Leak Personal Information To Tracking Sites,
New Study Shows

This is an augmentation of several months' ago, earlier post's info on The
Baren by yours truely... Just thought you'd want to know that at least one
member is not completely crazy when we say "no thanks!" to changing the
Baren. Glad that we still have the old system. Augmenting, sure, go ahead but
count me out. For those of you who do not care, that's cool.

This link, from a scientific site, confirms why some of us might not want
to go into facebook, etc. With the crunching abilities of computers, the
possibility of hiding in a crowd no longer exists. I'm the stay within the law
type of person... just don't want everything I consider personal business
known. Who knows what some political party that might be in power would declare
"of interest" long after the information is collected?

Hope that this is not a botheration.
