Send Message: To this poster

Hi Baren Forum!
Tomorrow is July 1st, and the sign-up for Exchange 50 is just hours away from being opened up. So many of you have expressed a desire to be a part of this momentous occasion, it promises to be an epic exchange! This exchange will be open to all who want to participate, without a wait list. We will divide into smaller, more manageable groups if needed. Even if you have already stated that you are onboard for this exchange, you will need to go to the official signup page and register your information to be added to the online list.
Below you will find the details of this exchange:

TINY LITTLE PRINTS/GREAT BIG WORLD
PAPER SIZE: 2 1/2 " x 3 1/2 " (6.5 cm x 9 cm).
(This size is widely used in many circles internationally for works such as Artist Trading Cards, Artist Cards, etc. Since there are already protective sleeves and storage pages made to accommodate this size, archiving becomes an easy task.)
IMAGE SIZE: The image you choose to create can be any size that fits within the boundaries of the 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" (6.5 cm x 9 cm) paper.
THEME: There will be no theme. Celebrate the 50th Baren Exchange with whatever image suits you.
SIGN-UPS: Officially open July 1, 2011.
DELIVERY DATE: Prints will be due to the coordinator on or before November 1, 2011.

Be sure to go to the Baren website for full information on the exchange and to find the signup page.
Wouldn't it be great if we could have at least 100 of us (or more) in this exchange?

Happy Printing!
Kristine

Subject: A Special Anniversary
Posted by: Dave Bull

Here's the shortest post of the year on this RoundTable ... just a simple short note to let you know that this is an 'anniversary' day for me - 25 years ago today I came to live in Japan.

A quarter of a century!

Story about this is here ...

Subject: Still carving linocut icons

It's one of those projects that gets bigger the more I work on it. I'm pretty sure that's not the way it's supposed to happen. Still a snow goose, melon, sorghum, and wheat to go. And maybe a different tractor.. it's possible they're going to want a more modern "high-tech" model after all. Oops. Good thing I just bought more linoleum.
